Independent Disability Services (IDS) employees share a commitment to offer our clients choice in their support services, assisting them to live as they choose.

Our History

Independent Disability Services (IDS) was established in 1986 to assist people with a disability transition from an institutional model of accommodating people that had been in place since 1880.

Our vision is for people with a disability to have the support they require to live the life they want.

IDS is an incorporated not-for-profit registered charity, supporting clients across Melbourne as a registered provider with NDIS, TAC and WorkSafe.
