It is always an exciting time to bring a new employee on board, especially when they come with glowing endorsements, are known as a person who will hit the ground running and will fit in with the existing team.

Maddie comes from a family with strong community and social justice links, her mother works in the disability sector, and her sister has just taken up a role as a firefighter in Queensland. Maddie has a history of leading by example, providing extraordinary customer service both internally and externally by taking a personal interest, developing relationships and creating a positive experience with the clients she supports.

Maddie’s experience in employment, customer services and training, provide all the skills required to meet the requirements of the role including relationship development, mentoring, advocacy and client satisfaction.

2018 was a busy year for Maddie, with many highlights, wedding to now-husband Josh, move from Cairns to Melbourne and new careers for both Maddie and Josh. Equally the last 12 months have seen a significant change at IDS as our clients transition to the NDIS. Maddie is impressed with the importance we place on client satisfaction and the emphasis placed on meeting their needs in an ever changing environment.

Maddie’s appointment completes our team of Client Relationship Officers and means we will be able to provide an even better service to our clients in 2019.

Maddie and Josh share a passion for travel, their two dogs and community involvement. They will be looking for recommendations about everything from galleries to good places to eat
